FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS – August 2021

Fruition / What’s Blooming For You & Where?

August brings our second Aquarian Full Moon of the year, but this one’s got Jupiter up close and personal, effecting a more positive vibe this time around.

Thank goodness for that 🙂

I for one am happy to see the back of July energy this year!

I love the Sabian Symbol for the Full Moon – Aquarius 30: “Moonlit Fields, Once Babylon, Are Blooming White”.

It feels like renewed hope and with optimistic Jupiter hanging out on Aquarius 27: “An Ancient Pottery Bowl Filled with Fresh Violets” something appears to be manifesting and blooming in a truly beautiful and fresh new way.

Violets are associated with Spiritual Wisdom and Love, so this could also denote a greater connection with your higher being and your innate self.

Pay attention to what’s coming to fruition for you as we move towards August’s Full Moon? (exacts at 10:00pm here in Brisbane AEST) on Sunday August 22nd.

Look to where 29 degrees of Aquarius falls in your birth chart to see the area of life that’s most likely affected.

New and Exciting Possibilities

With Mars and Mercury applying to the newly retrograde Uranus, you’re ready for change and if you have planets or points at 10 to 14 degrees of an Earth sign – Taurus*, Virgo, Capricorn – that breath of fresh air is likely falling into place for you.

If you have planets or points at 10 to 14 degrees of the fixed signs (Taurus*, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius), you too are after something new and exciting, but it may feel a little more challenging to manifest it

… or perhaps it’s here and you don’t feel comfortable about it.

*Taurus is a fixed Earth sign, so both could apply – maybe exciting and nail biting at the same time!

Trust the path.

As one door closes, another opens after all!

Tension, tiredness and feeling like you’ve got too much on your plate may actually be a sign of resistance, so take the time to carefully assess if that’s the case for you.

If it isn’t then the 2 weeks following the Full Moon are great for releasing the surplus.

Embrace You!

You may feel less inhibited about who you are this month and happy to own that and act accordingly regardless of others’ opinions.

There’s a sense of being ‘happily integrated’ and calm.

That makes it a helpful connection for breaking through limitations & discarding what’s no longer helpful – hello awakening and liberation 🙂

The Full Moon falls at the final degree of Aquarius, which is powerful; further driving this home.

Tune into the optimism and embrace the growth that comes from being on your own true path.

Support / Re-Affirming Values

The Venus / Saturn hook-up brings stability and ensures support from friends.

If you’ve been feeling a little lost regarding your values, it can help to talk about them now; with the two-way dialogue bringing objectivity and confirmation.

The lead up to this Full Moon is also a good time to air any grievances to loved ones and clear the air.

If money has been an issue, support, good news – or both, could arrive; especially likely if this Full Moon falls in your 2nd or 8th houses or contacts Venus.

Slow Down!

Whenever Uranus is strong – as he will be around this Full Moon – there can be an element of excitement.

Uranus tends to bring in the new and that can feel positive and exhilarating.

BUT he can also make us feel like we need to move at 100 miles per hour; throwing many tasks our way.

And that can lead to accidents!

The key here is:

  • Ensure you are grounded
  • Know you don’t have to do everything at once – Make a list and prioritise!
  • Slow Down – you don’t have to actually move that fast. Uranus just feels that way 😉
  • Nourish your Nervous System with foods that support. You’ll find a Chia Seed Pudding recipe here to help with that. Tryptophan (present in Chia Seeds) helps calm your nervous system as well as increasing your happy hormone (Serotonin). Top it with Blueberries to add an extra boost! You’ll be back to being blissed out in no time!
