Back in England 🇬🇧 for a few weeks & this is how my older sister & mum greeted us at the airport 🤗 on Monday.

Travelling when Mars is retrograde is interesting 🙈🥴, but expected.

It took 40 hours door to door due to 3 plane journeys and a delay thrown in, but all good 🙃

I've found a Hot Yoga studio thanks to my cousin 🙏
... & am feeling almost back to normal after an early start of Yoga flow and a Green Smoothie 💚

The Derbyshire countryside is so pretty and it feels good to be home 🏡 celebrating my Mum turning 80 next week.

This month is bringing easier energy 🙌

MARS / NEPTUNE

A reminder that sometimes you just need to let go.

This week the Mars/ Neptune square takes us into the balsamic (final) phase of the lunar cycle, as the planets move to an exact alignment at 22 degrees of Gemini (Mars) and Pisces (Neptune).

In a World that's often so busy, busy, busy this alignment asks that you soften.

In one way or another - especially if it's hitting your chart.

You may find yourself crying, feeling more tired than usual, feeling unmotivated or unwell

... or maybe you're just drawn to music and movies more than is usual.

Mars/Neptune also reminds you of your need for imagination and the spiritual in your life

... & as the planets begin to ingress to Sagittarius later this week you may find yourself feeling inspired & creative.

It's Fake Free Friday, so I'm sharing with you another completely natural, Earth-given delight :)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
-> And, as usual, it's a simple one to make - just how I like it!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Filled with Omega 3s and Protein, it's one of my faves.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
INGREDIENTS:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1/3 Cup Chia Seeds⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2 Cups Almond Milk – Make your own or use an Organic ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
pre-made one.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1 Pinch Salt⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup *optional⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Fruit of choice – Mango & Ginger is lovely, Banana & ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Blueberry is also a winner⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- 2 Tablespoons Hemp Seeds⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
METHOD:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1A) 1st Option if no blender = Add Chia Seeds, Salt, ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Maple Syrup & Almond Milk to a bowl. Mix 'til⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
well combined; ensuring lumps are broken up.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1B) 2nd Option - Blender or Thermomix (best option 😉) = ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Add Chia Seeds, Salt, Maple Syrup & Almond Milk to ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
blender & mix until well combined. Setting 3-4 on the ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thermomix for 1 to 2 minutes is usually good.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2) Leave for 20 minutes to thicken up and set.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3) Top with Fruit and Seeds of choice.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4) Enjoy!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
VARIATION:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Add half the Chia seed pudding to mason jars, add a layer ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
of raspberry coulis* (save a couple of tablespoons for ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
drizzling) then another layer of Chia pudding.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Top with coconut flakes, fresh raspberries and cacao nibs.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Drizzle the last quarter of coulis over the top.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
*Make the raspberry coulis by gently heating 1 cup of raspberries with 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup in a saucepan until it forms a thick sauce. Best if a textured sauce, so you don’t want the raspberries to completely break down. Just warm and combined, thick & runny with the raspberries still chunky.

FASTING WITH YOUR BESTIE!

If you're familiar with fasting, you'll know it can be challenging.

It's not usually the time for raucous socialising or packing your diary to the brim.

As the days progress and you feel yourself drawing in, you become aware that days without food are best spent in quiet contemplation, listening to something beautiful, taking gentle walks and re-connecting with mother nature.

But I do have one exception!

There's one friend I like to invite along
... and in all honesty I don't think I'd get through it so easily without her!

She's there to pep me up when I don't think I can drink another glass of water!

She's there to warm me at the times when my body temperature drops (as it sometimes does)

And she certainly brings a little variety to my day.

So who is this fantastic friend, supportive sister and cheer-me-on chick?

She's my regular intake of Herbal Tea!
