I'm doing the kindest thing possible for myself & committing to some well-needed time out.

2023 has been a big year for me (thanks to Pluto perfecting a T Square to my natal Saturn/Uranus square 🙈) ... super challenging 😵‍💫

And it's not over yet!!

I get 5 hits of this one .. and it won't complete 'til the end of next year. It'll be interesting (and something of a relief😌🤞) to see where I'm at by then.

But for now 👣...

As a result, I'm taking some time away from social media, including posting on Mother Earth Astrology.

I love being here & I will be back (... eventually), but for now, I must honour the process & simplify 🙏🏼

As we near the end of 2023, it can be nice to reflect on all the things you appreciate about your year

... & tune into what may be coming in 2024.

I like to do that, then intuitively choose my 'word of the year' & write it on a post-it note.

It then sits on my desk as a reminder of something I want to embody for the year ahead 🙌

With Pluto around, my word of the year just has to be 'Empowerment' ... but first it seems - in true Pluto style - I have some unravelling to complete, some fear to confront & some vulnerability to embrace.

Definitely a Phoenix period for me 🦋

Sagittarius ♐️ energy corresponds with Faith, Hope & Wisdom
... &, along with the square to Neptune, this New Moon could be a reminder to get back to meditation & healthy rituals that help you navigate life's more tricky moments 🙏🏼

Trusting the bigger picture & your own unique journey 👣

Also apt as this New Moon trines the North Node in Aries indicating a bright new path forward

MERCURY INTO CAPRICORN ♑️ & UPCOMING RETROGRADE ✨️ ⁣
Not only has Mercury moved to the sign of Capricorn, but he's also in the shadow🌪 zone for his upcoming retrograde.

This retrograde will take him from 8 degrees of Capricorn ♑️ back to 22 degrees of Sagittarius ♐️ , during which time he'll be transiting Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, the North Node, & Saturn.

The degree of his station-retrograde is "An Angel 😇 Carrying A Harp," and he'll station-direct at "Immigrants Entering A New Country."
These symbols, along with Mercury's transit of the North Node, indicate a new chapter 📖 evolving & being worked through.

Capricorn limits & can be prone to pessimism 😔 whereas Sagittarius expands & tends to optimism, indicating there's a need to weigh up ⚖️ pros and cons, but to do so in an objective way and not to let the mind become doubtful & anxious, especially with that square to Neptune, which can sometimes conjure up fear.

Venus carries her light from the Libran ♎️ South Node onto a square with Pluto as we enter early December, which could bring:
1) Something deep (potentially hidden) to light✨️
2) Passionate feelings
3) Change and/or disruption to relationships

She ♀️ enters Scorpio on the 5th when she'll be at her most transformative & magnetic. Something powerful could be stirring.

Your intuition may be particularly strong around this time, so heed your wisdom & be open to signs; especially as Neptune will also be strong - slowing 🐌 to station-direct on Dec 7th.

Venus will move to oppose Jupiter (10th) & Uranus (21st), which may bring opportunity & excitement ⚡️ Especially if you have planets or points at 19 or 6 degrees of the fixed signs (Leo, Taurus, Aquarius, Scorpio)

Mercury enters Capricorn on the 2nd, turning retrograde from the 13th to Jan 2nd when he'll reverse between 8 degrees of Capricorn & 22 degrees of Sagittarius.
