Full Moon in Capricorn – Intense Emotions

Full Moon in Capricorn – Strong Emotions, Self Care whilst working through Karma and Responsibilities

Full Moon in Capricorn – Strong emotions

The Full Moon in Capricorn will exact at 21 degrees and 21 seconds of Capricorn on July 14th (Bastille Day for anyone, who studied French at school and has never forgotten that date! 🙂 )

If you don’t live in Brisbane (AEST), you can convert the time here by entering where you live.

This will be the largest Supermoon of the year, so look to the skies and expect tides and emotions to run high.

Take Responsibility and Seek Empowerment

The Sabian Symbol for the Full Moon echoes the theme from the New Moon in Cancer:

“A General Accepting Defeat Gracefully”

Sabian Symbol: Capricorn 22

I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to go “all Buddha”, sit under a Tree and take a slice of that defeat!!

I feel I’ve been living in an energetic crock-pot since 2020. It’s been intense and, as Pluto continues to move through the latter degrees of Capricorn, he’s really been ramping up the Capricorn/Saturn feels of hard work, fear and duty.

And, yes! – Pluto will be up-close-and-personal with this month’s Full Moon in Capricorn – Of course he will!!

As natural law tells us –

“Energy cannot be created or destroyed. It can only be transformed or transferred”

And this is where Pluto comes in!

Pluto digs deep and brings things to the surface. He’s the planetary equivalent of psychotherapy; delving into all that subconscious sh*t-f*ckery you’re suppressing and carting around!

He does this to bring darkness to light, so rather than dreading Pluto’s influence, it can help to see his influence as empowering.

Because when we work to clear, heal and transform we become so much lighter; making July a great month to work on anything that feels ‘heavy’, burdensome or scary.

Remember Self Care on the Path to Success

Pluto brings intensity and coupled with Capricorn energy, July may feel hard on the body – tight shoulders, general stiffness, rigidity and, often, tooth problems .

With Saturn (ruler of the Capricorn Full Moon) in Aquarius, your nervous system is also likely in need of some time out.

This Lunar Month begins with a New Moon in Cancer, which asks you to set intentions for self care, increased nurture and tenderness.

Remember that as July progresses!

Capricorn is ambitious, but there are times when all that pushing leads only to burn out.

Make time for relaxation and rest as much as you can during July.

That doesn’t mean you can’t achieve anything. Just don’t push beyond your limit and success can absolutely be yours!

But if we create the future from the present, it’s also important to take a balanced approach.

The Need for Focus, Acceptance of Limitation & Potential Surprises

Uranus is closing in on the North node (both in Taurus) indicating money will continue to surprise.

The Cancer/Capricorn axis is one of provision and security, so family and work commitments are likely to feature this month. Where do you need to think outside the box?

Mars in Taurus is bringing a steady influence, as is Mercury’s trine to Saturn; a reminder that manifestation needs focus.

If you’ve been deceiving yourself, July will bring a reality check and a need to redraw plans. See this as beneficial and the chance for a fresh start, rather than taking a glass half-empty viewpoint.

Capricorn/Saturn energy is great for remembering your humanness and limitations.

Be gentle with yourself and remember personal karma can take a while to work through.

You’re doing amazingly well and are always progressing; even if it doesn’t always feel that way, so be patient and honour your journey.

If you’ve been steadily moving towards a goal, this Full Moon could well bring something to fruition. If that’s the case (or even if it’s not), plan a celebration and give gratitude for what is going well and all you appreciate in life.
