With plenty of Earth energy in this New Moon chart; including a sesquiquadrate to Saturn in Capricorn and a trine to Mars in the same sign, consider taking responsibility for where you want to create some solid results this Lunar Month…
… and remember – where your thoughts go, energy flows, so set some clear intentions, draw up a manifestation board and plan out the next phase of your life story.

As Venus moves to square Chiron expect some heightened sensitivity related to beauty and; specifically what you find beautiful.
You may even find yourself moved to tears over this during the course of this Lunar Month or experience a heart-opening moment or two.

Get Excited about What Your Heart Longs to Express!!
Uranus (at the anuretic degree and poised to enter Taurus soon after this New Moon exacts) sits conjunct Mercury and square to Mars so whatever your plans, get excited!! and make sure that they offer you plenty of freedom!!
With Jupiter in Scorpio sextiling Pluto in Capricorn and both planets engaging with this New Moon, there’s plenty of energy to dig deep and create something tangible; potentially bringing yourself some powerful transformation and growth along the way, so make sure that whatever you’re building is aligned with your passions.
Venus (as the ruler of this chart) sits in Mercury’s sign (Gemini) and there’s a beautiful mutual reception with Mercury sitting in Venus’ sign (Taurus).
Mutual receptions are ‘double-whammy’ flags that Astrologers take note of and this energy is very self-expressive.

Money, Money, Money and the Quest for Financial Freedom
Money is likely to be a hot topic for the next 7 years beginning with Uranus’ ingress into Taurus just over 3 hours after this New Moon exacts.
If your way of earning a living feels constricting in any way (i.e. your work bores you terribly, or there’s an all work/no play kind of energy) then expect Uranus to trigger an almost in-suppressible feeling of rebellion within you; inspiring you to change it up (or bust you clean out of that rut); especially apt if Uranus happens to be hitting your chart at this time.
The quest for financial freedom, the pressing need to attend to future financial security and the question of what brings physical security and safety is likely to feature.

One thing is certain, however, Uranus brings change and usually of the unexpected kind, so if this energy is hitting your chart, hold onto your hat and try to go with the flow as much as you can.
Trust that the path you are taken on is opening you up to bigger and better things.
Well-Thought Out and Measured Progress
You’ll likely be brimming with inspired ideas (especially if this New Moon is hitting your chart (see below) or if you have any planets around 28 to 0 degress that are being contacted by Uranus right now).
But!!…
… the strong Capricorn/Taurus energy is asking that you take your time to ensure that what you’re manifesting is well-thought out.
Take the time to plan, feel into what you’re trying to create and let it settle before hitting the ‘Go’ button.
Taurus is tactile energy – let all of your senses engage with this one and only act on it when it feels right.
The Ground Beneath Your Feet
Taurus is the sign most associated with Mother Earth.
How connected do you feel to the Planet that you live on?
Do you feel that she is a living, thriving organism too?
When you walk in nature or swim in the Ocean how do you feel?
Grounded? Connected? Refreshed?
When you get out in Sunlight do you feel enlivened and energised?
When you eat fresh, colourful fruits and vegetables does your body respond in healthful ways?
Maybe there’s a reason for that…
If you’re feeling a lack of connection then visualising roots growing from your feet and down into the Earth as part of your morning ritual may help.
Take some deep breaths, get really relaxed, close your eyes and imagine those roots growing deep down into the ground.
Once they’re really deep, imagine Mother Earth sending her energy back up through those roots and into your body; filling and nourishing your cells.
Keep breathing and visualising/sensing that energy fill your entire body.
Now open your eyes – better?
Taking the Time to Value your Body
If your health has been less than good, maybe you can consider making an intention this month to place greater value on the body that has taken you through life to date.
I’m a big believer in ‘prevention is better than cure’.
What action can you take under this new moon that will show your body some love and ensure that the next part of your life is the most healthful part of your life?
Taurus is sensual and tactile energy – massage, a facial, warm epsom salt baths with essential oils and music that soothes the soul may lift you this month.

Can you take the time to slow down and put yourself first?
Giving Gratitude for What Makes you Feel Secure
Successful manifestors teach us that to attract more into our lives we have to foster gratitude for what we already have.
Lighting a candle and sending up a prayer of thankfulness as the New Moon exacts will be a beautiful way to welcome in the energy of the Taurus New Moon.
Be thankful for a warm bed, the food you eat, the safety that you feel within your home/your community and magnify that energy out into the space around you.
Consider visualising a ball of light filled with this energy of gratitude, safety and abundance.
Imagine it growing and encompassing the World with the intention that all living beings can feel that sense of abundance, comfort, love and safety at this time.
What’s in Need of Healing and Potential Relationship Angst
Chiron’s aspect to Venus can bring up issues around feminine energy, lack, the sense of belonging or insecurities with Artistic talents and Worth.
Jealousy, Rivalry, Relationship Angst, Possessiveness, Materialism and the Inability to Value one’s own Beauty may arise.
If you find yourself connecting (or re-connecting) with such a pain point this lunar month, try writing out how you feel, sitting with how this makes your feel and allowing it to arise.
Often such contemplation can do wonders for our self-understanding and once we really let ourselves feel into our pain, we start to understand it and find ways to move through it.
Writing out feelings is also a great way to gain greater self understanding.
