Make sure you don’t miss another Mother Earth Astrology Moon report –
This month’s New Moon will exact in the sign of Aries on 16th April 2018 at 11:57am here in Brisbane (AEST, GMT +10).
With the Sun, the Moon, Mercury and Uranus all placed in Aries at this New Moon, you are likely to feel a strong sense of motivation and renewed vitality this month.
This is the month to activate your inner trailblazer, to consider stepping out of your comfort zone and to take a few risks (think big girl/boy pants)!!
Aries energy loves a challenge!!
This is not a month to feel hemmed in or restricted.
Mercury will turn direct the day before (on April 15th) signalling a time of forward-momentum and with Uranus tightly conjunct this New Moon you may be feeling inspired and full of new ideas, which you can now progress.
Opportunity to Bring Healing
If Mercury’s retrograde journey (also through Aries) found you connecting with some pain points, now is the time to set some intentions that can help you to change your habits and behaviours accordingly.
Mercury’s conjunction with Chiron (the latter situated at the very last degree of Pisces) and square to Saturn it is an ample time to take responsibility for your own healing around the themes that arose; especially as Chiron is just about to head into this same sign (Aries).
With Saturn preparing to turn retrograde in his home sign of Capricorn, this is a great month for re-visiting the structures that you have in place within your life.
What boundaries do you have? How do these keep you safe and protected?
Where might you need more?

Rebellion is in the air!
Aries energy is independent, spontaneous and driven.
With Uranus strongly placed alongside this New Moon you may also connect with a rebellious side of your nature and find that you can no longer tolerate circumstances that make you feel suppressed or held back.
Use the powerful energy that is on offer this month to pursue goals that honour your personal values and which connect you with a sense of personal growth and freedom.
And be aware of a potential tendency to blame others for your circumstances.
Only you are responsible for your life and the way that you feel
… and only you can change things!!
The sure fire way of getting stuck in life is to play the blame game, go down the “victim road” and to give away your power.
This is your life!!
What do you want to do with it and how are you going to make that happen?
Potential Reactivity/Volatile Communication
Watch for reactivity and be mindful of your triggers around this New Moon.
Try counting to ten or going for a walk if your buttons are pressed.

What do you need to be more aware of and how are you using your words?
With Mercury conjunct be aware of the pain that they can cause and note any sore spots caused by words being spoken to you.
If you’ve not looked after yourself adequately and taken enough time to rest during the waning lunar cycle, your potential for outbursts will be higher.
Mercury will be direct, but will still appear stationary at this New Moon, so be open to the lessons coming your way.
What Do You Need?
Aries lunar energy asks you to pay attention to your personal needs.
Is it time to speak up for what you want?
