Move over Saturn

During much of 2016, Saturn was the planet in the hot seat; sprinkling your World with a dose of reality and asking that you get grounded, take responsibility and attend to the material matters.

Add to that a year when Mercury has been retrograding through the Earth signs and you’ve likely been asked to ‘get real’ and to put things into perspective this year.

With a strong square to Neptune also in play, your view of the World may have been one of disillusionment and uncertainty for a while there and this transit in particular had some of us feeling a little overwhelmed, sometimes depressed and perhaps unworthy or confused at times.

My personal take on this year was that it was best to keep things simple, to attend to what needed attending to and to continue to work on those dreams as best as one could; whilst keeping a grateful heart about the things that really matter in life – always the simple stuff!

Since September and the final hit of that Saturn/Neptune energy things have started to move and if you managed to tap into some of the power that was on offer during the last few weeks (the Scorpio month) then the chances are that you’re now moving some mountains again – or at least you’ve started to.

Hello Jupiter

The great news is that this forward-momentum is set to continue as we now move into a period of Jupiter-energy.

Where Saturn tends to constrict and restrict, Jupiter enlarges and expands.

Where Saturn can bring fear and pessimism, Jupiter can bring hope and optimism.

There is a watch point in all of this, however, so please be mindful.

Where Saturn usually requires patience, reliability and discipline, Jupiter has a bit of a reputation for sloppiness, haste and excess.

Jupiter square Pluto – What Heights Will You Scale?

Jupiter (the planet of growth and expansion) will be making a series of squares to power-planet Pluto from early Friday morning (November 25th 2016) (AEST) until early August 2017.

This is big, strong energy and squares being aspects of challenge you may have to expect a few of those (challenges).

Squares tend to push us to achieve whatever the energy is bringing (in this case the potential for powerful growth, freedom and transformation) by increasing tension, so if something in your life is needing attention, expect that need to increase until you attend to it.

At times you may feel stretched and with Jupiter’s placement in Libra please keep in mind that balance will be important to prevent burn out and lopsidedness.

This transit has the potential to get all the workaholics fired up, so if that’s you – it may help to remember that personal care, home, your family and your love life are just as important to your well-being; especially so with Jupiter residing in Libra (sign of balance, harmony, relationships).

Jupiter opposition Uranus – The Urge to Break Free

From 27th December 2016 (AEST) until mid-September 2017 Jupiter will also be forming a series of oppositions with Uranus.

If you’ve been ignoring the need to expand and change your World (bought to you from the Jupiter/Pluto square mentioned above) then this transit may be just what’s needed to spur you into action.

Why can I hear Queen singing “I want to break free” in my ear? Because that’s exactly what you’re likely to want to do once this transit hits.

This energy is one of excitement; ushering in a craving for the new and a desire to be free of unnecessary obligation and limitation; perhaps triggered by an unexpected opportunity.

This is also likely to be a time when you just cannot continue to do what is no longer working or what you feel is holding you back and with Jupiter in Libra that may well apply to your relationships.

This is a time to allow everyone a little space, encourage adventurousness and to explore new horizons.

If that scares you, then consider the opposite – stagnation.

Uranus/Pluto Energy – A reactivation of the square

If you’ve been around the Astrology circuit for a while, you may have felt your intuition prick at the mention of both Pluto and Uranus in this report and yes, that means that Jupiter will be activating a little more of both.

Although the Uranus/Pluto square of the last few years is passing away, it isn’t over yet.

With Jupiter at the helm expect a period of growth, awakening, change, transformation and reform both on a personal level and a global level.

Angelic Help and Assistance

I’d also like to mention here the healing power of prayer. Jupiter is a planet aligned with the spiritual; both spiritual growth and spiritual assistance, Pluto is powerful beyond measure and Uranus is unexpected and often sudden.

Therefore, if you’re finding yourself in a difficult position, if you’re struggling with an issue and or if you really just can’t see an answer or a way out then please remember to pray for guidance and assistance from the unseen realms.

When doing so, I find it works best for me if I explain what’s troubling me, ask the Angels to show me how to solve the particular problem and then I hand the full problem over to them for a solution.

Give it a go and remain alert for answers. You may just be surprised at how swiftly these Angelic messengers can work 🙂
