Stress And Two Powerful Ways To Help Alleviate It

Stress Woman Tree

You know those days?

The ones when you feel all out of sorts with the World’s rhythm.

Nothing is flowing.

It’s all rigid, disjointed and clunky and you just cannot see how to pull things together.

The days when adding that one additional teeny tiny item on to your ‘to do’ list feels like it’s going to break you.

All you want to do is crawl into bed and hide under the blankets and yet, you can’t, because that ‘to do’ list is going nowhere and there are people relying on you having it together.

Whether it’s your family, your work colleagues or your clients…

You have to keep going.

IMG_4833They are the days when you know that if there was a ‘Miss’ or ‘Mr Uptight’ competition that you would win it hands down and when someone cracks a joke or attempts to “God forbid!” have a giggle, you feel that you’ve just been promoted to Sergeant of the Fun Police.

It’s easy to fall into a rapid downward spiral of gloom at such times and if you’re not careful, that nose dive can last for weeks.

Do you resonate?

If so, then let me introduce you to Stress.

I know Stress well.

He’s been in my life for a long time and if I neglect to take correct care of myself he can creep up on me all unexpected.

And that’s the first trick with Stress; to recognise him and to know when he’s back.

Are you able to do that?

If you’re anything like me then ironically, you can often be the last person to notice when he’s taken hold of you.

If you’re experiencing the constriction of stress right now, you may be feeling like you don’t have the time to read to the end of this blog.

I understand that, but bare with me, as I have an offer for you that I believe will help you :).

A small amount of stress is good, as it can spur us on to acheive our goals.

When the pressure valve is fit to burst, however, the stress-barometer is signalling that you need to take note.

This type of stress is certainly not good. Especially if it is sustained over a period of time.

In fact, the experts tell us that all the health food in the World will not help you if you are constantly living a stressful life. Think stroke, nervous breakdown, cancer.

So, what do you do?

Well, firstly, the chances are that you’re attempting to do too much and yes, I know that it feels that you have to do all those things right now  (I’m a Virgo, remember 😉 – we’re notorious stress-junkies).

There is undoubtedly something that needs to give a little, however. Perhaps you need to delegate? Extend a timeline? Put in some boundaries?

Are you making the time for self care? I am willing to bet that you’re not. Or that you’re not doing as much as you should.

Do you meditate each morning? Exercise each day? Are you taking the time to eat your Meditation Beachmeals slowly; to have some You time?

The problem with stress is that it can be hard to get out of without help.

Sitting down to meditate can feel like “just another thing that needs to be done”, as can exercise, but both of these will hugely help to manage your stress levels.

If your spring is currently coiled a little tightly, I’d like to introduce you to two remedies that help me enormously at these times.

So much so that I wouldn’t be without them.

Healing ChrysmHealing Chrysm is the bomb for all those aches and pains associated with stress. I tend to carry my tension in my neck and shoulder area, which can lead to headaches. A few applications of this, however and BAM! – no headache, looser muscles and all without the massage.

To quote Ian White in his book ‘Bush Flower Essences’, “Black Eyed Susan is the remedy for stress” and I agree wholeheartedly with this statement.

Black Eyed Susan has the most profound effect  on me. By taking 7 drops of this essence IMG_0383morning and night I find that I can slow down, that my inner peace is restored and that I am able to achieve my goals in a calm and centred manner.

Black Eyed Susan can also increase your patience and tolerance levels and can help you to realise that you are exactly where you need to be right now.

I’d love to share the healing power of these two products with you and so for this reason, I will send you a free bottle of Black Eyed Susan when you purchase a 0.5oz pot of Healing Chrysm from my Online Store while stocks last.

Here’s to getting back into the rhythm of life,

Toria xo
