A Turning Point (Saturn Retrograde 2016)

On June 3rd 2016 at 4:38pm (AEST, Brisbane Time) – click time for a conversion to your place in the World ๐Ÿ˜‰ – Saturn in his retrograde journey will oppose the Sun at 13 degrees and 7 seconds of Gemini.

This is the midway point of the Saturn Retrograde Cycle and a turning point.

The houses where the Sun and Saturn are falling at this time across your personal natal chart will likely show which area of your life has slowed and potentially been curbed during Saturn’s retrograde to date.

Looking at any Planets at the 13 degree point (especially of the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) can also be enlightening.

From this time forward, you may begin to get some clarity on what needs to be done differently or what needs re-work.

Where are you being asked to be more dutiful, to take more care? What is calling for discipline?

Perhaps something within you has been impinging on your growth. Have you been holding yourself back?

Are you taking responsibility for all areas within your life and are you ready for the extra responsibility that a particular area could bring?

Maybe you are starting to get a sense of where the old you or an aspect of your Ego is slowly being restructured?

Maybe fear has been popping up a little more regularly in your life over these past 2 months; perhaps hinting at limiting beliefs or actions?

Are you facing that fear? (hint: running from it is usually not the answer ๐Ÿ˜‰ ).

If you are a self-reflective person and the type to embrace change and to listen to the whispers of your own intuitive prompts then Saturn’s retrograde is less likely to be so intense.

There may still be frustration that you can’t move forwards as quickly as you would like, but perhaps your heart is assuring you that it will all happen in it’s own time.

Perhaps you are tuned into the need for slowness at this time; Feeling like the Universe has your back and is helping you to take those steps in your own sweet time.

This is when the art of surrender can come to the fore. Keep forging ahead. Keep braving those fears. Listen to your heart.

If you have been more resistant to Saturn’s retrograde energy to date then the Sun/Saturn opposition is likely to bring some clarity around where you may have been in denial; perhaps holding on a little too tightly to the status quo.

When Saturn is strong, there can be a sense of ‘all work and no play’.

Don’t worry, it will not last forever. You just need to keep on doing what you’re being called to work on at this time (for now).

Remember that something that is incubating is not quite ready yet.

Let go, Trust and Have Faith.

Doing the work may just lead to a brighter future ๐Ÿ™‚
