If you haven’t yet picked a card and would like to give this a go, you can find the original post here
Here are the cards and their meanings π
Card One: Sturt Desert Rose
Are you allowing feelings of guilt to hold you back from what you really want to be doing?
Guilt is a toxic emotion that can keep us in our own internal chains.
What are you feeling guilty about? Is this a valid emotional response or is it something that you have picked up in childhood – perhaps from a parent that always felt guilty, perhaps from messages you received from your caretakers? Perhaps from feeling different to your peers?
Giving to the self or acting on behalf of the self is not selfish if it does no harm to others. Often when we choose acts of self-care we empower others to do the same.
Looking after ourselves also puts us in a strong position to be there for others.
Remember, you are unique and only you can live your purpose. If you do not follow your heart, no one else can do it for you and why would you want them to?
Write on a piece of paper “I now release guilt from my life and choose to move forward with the courage to be true to myself”.
Release the message by either burning it or stamping on it and throwing it in the bin.
Card Two: Silver Princess
Are you feeling stuck and a little lost? Perhaps struggling to connect with why you are here and potentially feeling like you have nothing to contribute?
Do what brings you joy and see where this leads.
Enrol on a course that speaks to you or join a group.
Follow your heart and eventually, your purpose will find you.
If you feel that you are at a crossroads and do not know which way to turn try sitting in silence beneath a tree.
Write your possible options on separate pieces of paper and lay them out in front on you.
Close your eyes and breathe deeply until you feel a sense of stillness.
Now, take 3 deep breaths in and out; directing the in-breath to your heart.
Open your eyes and see which piece of paper that you are drawn to. What is your heart telling you?
Card Three: Wedding Bush
This card indicates that you may be having difficulty committing to something or someone.
What is preventing you from staying the distance?
Remember that being committed to something or someone does not have to mean enduring a ‘boring’ future.
Instead, we are gifted the treasure that only those, who choose to work with a deepening relationship or lifelong passion get to discover and cherish.
Let go of the fear and procrastination and you may well be amazed at the transformation that you are capable of.
Write 3 steps that you can follow to honour your commitment. Assign these steps dates in your calendar and set reminders.
Once these steps are complete assign 3 more.
This card can also indicate a need to give something up and to stay committed to that.
Card Four: Jacaranda
A lack of focus may be the issue here. Do you find that you tend to jump from one thing to another; failing to complete what you started?
Do you struggle to make decisions? Are you often involved in many projects at once; scattering your energy?
Working with the crystal Haematite to help bring you focus and to help to centre you could be the answer. Along with choosing to work on one thing at a time.
Writing out a task list and prioritising it could be beneficial.
Start each day with a grounding ritual (such as this one) to help maintain your focus throughout the day.
Sit in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed and breathe deeply until you feel peaceful.
Imagine green vines growing out from the base of your spine and moving down into the Earth.
Imagine the vines wrapping themselves around your Earth Star (energy centre approximately 6 inches below your feet) – You can imagine the Earth Star however feels right for you. For example, as a six pointed star.
Imagine the star is filled with liquid haematite and see the liquid flowing back up the vines and back to the base of your spine.
The haematite now fills your body. From the base of your spine it moves down your legs and into your feet and toes. It moves up through your torso and down each arm filling your hands and fingers.
It moves up through your neck and fills your head; eventually spilling out into the energy field around you.
Now imagine beautiful white stars coming down from the sky and entering the top of your head. The stars fill your body and your energy field.
Say: “I am now grounded and focused. I am connected to my intuition and I choose to manifest my goals; one by one.
Card Five: Tall Yellow Top
Fear of alienation may be playing a part in your ability to move forward. Do you feel different to others?
Do you feel that the path that you are choosing will take you further away from those around you?
Have you experienced some pain around belonging?
Aligning with others who share your views and beliefs can be helpful in these circumstances.
You may be a trail-blazer, but know that you are never truly alone.
Taking a course or joining a group with like-minded people can often connect us to our soul-family and can help us to feel a sense of connectedness with others.
You belong to this Earth. You are a breath of the All and your gifts are needed as much as everyone else’s to make up the whole.
Card Six: Sunshine Wattle
Are you allowing negative expectations to hold you back from what you want to do in life?
Perhaps you are stuck in a negative pattern or belief system that you don’t seem to be able to shake?
Do you regard the Past with pessimism? Sensing that life can be a struggle?
Working with the colour yellow can increase optimistic feelings. Surrounding yourself with yellow flowers or wearing yellow, for instance.
Just because something didn’t work out once doesn’t mean it can never work out.
Buying a beautiful yellow journal and writing 10 different things that you are grateful for in life each evening before getting into bed can help to boost your energy and help you to see the amazing things that you already have in your life.
Card Seven: Monga Waratah
This card indicates that you may fear doing things alone; that you are perhaps feeling weak and ineffective or that you feel that you cannot do things without the assistance of another.
Monga Waratah tells you that it is time to reclaim your inner power.
You can do this.
Surround yourself with the colour red.
For example, display red flowers in the home, wear something red each day, hold something red or meditate by looking into a red object.
Working with an empowering crystal; such as Chrysocolla (one of my favourites) may help to build up your confidence and strength. You can wear a peice around your neck or hold and connect with this beautiful crystal throughout the day.
Take one step today that you feel that you can do alone. Once you are confident with that action take a second step.
The more actions we take alone, the stronger we feel and the more empowered we become.
Card Eight: Illawarra Flame Tree
Is a fear of rejection holding you back?
Do you fear that others will shun you if you stand in your power and let yourself be seen exactly as you are?
Do you join in activities that you would rather not be doing as a way of feeling included?
There will always be those who judge us and there will always be those who support us.
Surround yourself with the supporters and maintain some emotional distance when judgement arises. Taking a deep breath and seeing that others are not always in the same place as us can help.
We cannot always be liked by everyone, but as long as we are liked by the right people and feel loved then what does it matter? Is it really worth dimming your light for?
You may also be experiencing a fear of responsibility. Do you delay events or actions because you fear that you will not be able to cope?
Affirm: “I am never given anything that I cannot deal with. I am always surrounded by encouraging, supportive and loving people. I am always helped upon my journey”.
Card Nine: Boab
This card implies that family viewpoints may be having a negative effect on your ability to act.
Is it time to release the chains of family conditioning?
Do you want to do something, but fear being judged or disapproved of by those that you love or by your ancestors?
Boab reminds us that we are here to create our own unique destiny. A destiny that may not necessarily be in keeping with what our family wishes us to do or to be.
There can also be a conscious realisation around a family pattern that has been repeated; such as finding that we struggle with motivation or suppressed anger and realising that this is something that one or both parents are/were dealing with.
When we choose to take responsibility for such traits and to consciously work with releasing them, our actions can have a healing effect on the whole family line; especially that of our children.
There may even be something deeper at work here, but whatever is coming up for you, perhaps it is now time to seek psychological or spiritual soul healing.
To finally confront those places within you that require love so that you can move forwards.
Card Ten: Kapok Bush
This card implies that there is a sense of giving up; of lost hope; potentially apathy.
Does it all seem too hard?
Often the most difficult step is the first.
Do you want to begin something? Maybe an exercise regime or a new venture? What is the first step to doing that?
Do you need to find a club? Do you need to write a plan?
This evening, make yourself a glass of wine or another favourite drink and take that first step.
Whether it involves a Google Search, a Phone call or a Decision.
Just do it.
There. That feels better now doesn’t it? π
Now, what’s the next step?
When are you going to do it?
Write 3 action steps in your diary now for what you are going to do tomorrow.
Kapok Bush reminds us that we can turn things around. That we can take control of our lives, even when it all seems too hard.
Just take it day by day and one step at a time.
Write 3 actions in your diary every evening for the next day and carry them out. Watch how your life starts to change and how your energy begins to lift π
Card Eleven: Southern Cross
Southern Cross helps us to understand that we are the creators of our destiny.
Have you been feeling powerless of late? Do you feel like a victim of circumstances?
Creating a manifestation board of your hopes, your dreams and the things that you would some day like to attain can help to connect you with your own unique desires.
Is it time to take responsibility for your life? To take it back into your hands? Maybe you have been complaining of late, feeling that life is against you or blaming others for your circumstances?
Southern Cross reminds us that each life experience offers us an opportunity to grow and it is often our response to these experiences that is responsible for the outcome.
Is there an area of life that you would love to change right now?
Maybe try sitting quietly by yourself this evening in a place where you will not be disturbed. Pour a glass of wine or a cup of your favourite tea and grab a book and a pen.
Write down what you would like to change at the top of a page.
Close the book and hold it close to your heart. Close your eyes and say: “Dear God/Universe/Source, I am calling on you for your loving support at this time. Please can you help me with (describe the situation)? Please show me how I can turn this situation around/move forwards with this situation. Please send me intuitive wisdom with regards to the steps that I can follow – now”.
Now open your eyes and your book. Take some deep breaths. Light a candle if you feel called and begin to write some action steps around how you can move forward.
Are there things that need to be let go of? Are there ideas coming through for things that you can action? Write them all down.
Once you have written down all of the ideas you can sort them into an action plan in order of priority/date.
Card Twelve: Five Corners
Low self worth may be impacting on your ability to make some headway in life.Β Do you doubt your capabilities in some area?
If there is something that you would really like to do, but are fearing that you are not enough for the task then it’s possible that you need to value yourself more.
If your heart is saying yes then it may be time to take a deep breath and do one action step today that will move you in the direction of your heart’s desire.
Are you holding onto old energy? Perhaps someone criticised you when you were young? Let this go and make a promise to yourself that you will not let it hold you back in the future.
Working with Rose Quartz may help you.
Think about what makes your heart sing and then do it.
Gift yourself some self-care and perhaps treat yourself to a new haircut or book a style advisor and celebrate your beauty.
Enhancing your self love will increase your confidence to move forwards.
